About CSInstruments

Our story begins in 1989, when we first collaborated with Digital Instruments, gaining invaluable expertise in the emerging field of Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). This early partnership allowed us to work closely with researchers, understand their needs, and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in AFM technology.

From 1999 to 2014, we expanded our expertise by producing AFM components and modules in collaboration with Molecular Imaging, which later became Agilent. This period marked a significant step in our evolution, as we transitioned from being a service provider to a creator of innovative AFM solutions, paving the way for our own brand.

In 2006, we officially launched CSInstruments, building on years of experience and a deep understanding of AFM technology. With our first product lines, we set out to address the real-world challenges faced by researchers, combining precision, usability, and performance.

Since then, our journey has been defined by continuous innovation. The development of the ResiScope™ brought unparalleled resistance measurements to researchers, while the HD-KFM™ introduced high-resolution surface potential imaging, setting new standards in AFM technology.

In 2024, we unveiled the Nano-Observer II, the second generation of our advanced AFM series. Designed to offer enhanced precision, expanded capabilities, and even greater ease of use, the Nano-Observer II represents the culmination of decades of expertise and a commitment to advancing nanoscience.
