An Agilent 5500, brought back to the leading edge
We travelled to the Universidade Federal do ABC to upgrade its Agilent 5500 with the Galaxy Dual Controller. On-site installation, hands-on training, and a familiar instrument with a whole new set of capabilities.

From legacy platform to advanced characterization
Rather than replacing a trusted Agilent 5500, UFABC chose to modernize it. The Galaxy Dual Controller integrates modern, high-speed, low-noise electronics and an intuitive software interface into the existing mechanical platform. It unlocks advanced modes without the cost of a complete new system.
The installation included full setup, a technical presentation, and a hands-on training session with the UFABC team.

The Galaxy Dual Controller revitalizes existing AFMs with modern electronics and software, and gives access to CSInstruments’ advanced modes:

Now controlling the Dimension 3100
The Galaxy Dual Controller now works with the Dimension 3100 too. It gives full AFM modes, integrated CCD software, motorized stage control, and fully automated measurements.
